Omega Florence seeks a Sales Assistant for its boutique on Via dei Tornabuoni. Full-time retail role delivering client service and sales in Florence, Italy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary client service on the boutique floor: welcome guests, qualify needs, deliver personalised product advice and close sales to meet conversion and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-up communications and accurate CRM record-keeping.
- Present and demonstrate product features with technical accuracy, including mechanical watch functions and care recommendations.
- Maintain boutique standards: visual merchandising, shop floor housekeeping, window displays and brand-compliant presentation.
- Handle daily store operations including POS transactions, cash handling, returns, warranty/after-sales procedures and stock replenishment.
- Receive and process deliveries, perform stock counts and assist with inventory control and loss-prevention measures.
- Support store events, product launches and marketing activations; liaise with the Store Manager and regional teams to ensure local execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury or premium retail sales, ideally within watches, jewellery or high-end fashion.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a client-first mindset.
- Polished professional appearance, excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
- Legal authorization to work in Italy.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in luxury retail or premium goods is expected; prior experience with watches or jewellery is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or luxury goods is advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Florence, Tuscany, Italy.
