OMEGA seeks an International Sales Trainer in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland to lead global training programs for luxury watch retail and wholesale teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for sales teams across retail and wholesale channels, addressing specific performance objectives
- Conduct international training sessions at headquarters and boutique locations using classroom instruction, on-the-job coaching, workshops, and virtual presentations
- Develop and maintain current, engaging training materials, presentations, and e-learning resources that support sales development initiatives
- Coordinate and supervise local training teams, monitoring their training plans and activities to ensure consistency and quality
- Coach local trainers and sales associates on luxury selling techniques, clienteling, and high-end customer experience standards
- Assess boutique sales staff performance, deliver constructive feedback, and collaborate on tailored improvement plans
- Identify local training needs, gather feedback on completed programs, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Demonstrate accountability for assigned projects and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders across functions and locations
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer, Training Manager, or similar role in luxury retail or wholesale environments
- Demonstrated ability to conduct engaging training sessions and coaching activities that align with headquarters strategies
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, well-organized documents
- Digital proficiency and capability to structure lessons and create content for e-learning platforms
- Passion for people development with a collaborative and flexible approach to learning and growth
Skills
Experience
Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer or in a comparable training or development role, preferably within luxury retail, watches, or wholesale environments. Experience conducting training sessions, coaching sales staff at various seniority levels, and collaborating with international teams is essential.
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary education in business, education, training and development, or a related field is advantageous.
