Omega seeks a Fire Safety Officer in Biel, Switzerland, to oversee fire protection, assess buildings and systems, develop and implement protection measures, and ensure compliance. The role also raises employee awareness of evacuation and prevention procedures.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of fire protection.
- Assesses existing buildings and systems, develops fire protection concepts, implements recommended measures, and ensures their application and compliance.
- Raises employee awareness and informs staff about evacuation procedures and preventive measures.
Qualifications
- Training in the building sector (CFC, ES, HES, or equivalent qualification).
- AEAI diploma as a fire safety officer.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position and very good technical knowledge of buildings.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Good organisational and communication skills, team spirit, and initiative.
- Flexible personality with strong adaptability to local cultures and environments.
- Fluency in French and German, spoken and written; English is an asset.
