Omega seeks a Sales Representative (80%) for its Bern boutique — part‑time retail role at Omega in Bern, Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service in accordance with Omega’s brand standards and boutique protocols.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive clienteling and CRM activities to drive repeat business.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge of mechanical and quartz timepieces; advise customers on product features, servicing and provenance.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through active selling, upselling and cross-selling.
- Process sales transactions, manage cash and POS procedures accurately and securely.
- Maintain boutique visual presentation, merchandising standards and stockroom organisation.
- Coordinate after‑sales enquiries and liaise with after‑sales/service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Participate in boutique events, product launches and team meetings as required by store scheduling.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail sales, preferably within luxury goods, watches or jewellery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with polished, client‑centric presentation and diplomacy when handling high‑value transactions.
- Right to work in Switzerland (local work permit) or legal eligibility to be employed in Bern.
- High level of personal integrity, discretion and reliability when managing clients and valuable merchandise.
- Flexibility to work the boutique roster including weekends and evenings in line with an 80% contract.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail or watch/jewellery sales is preferred; typically 1+ years of direct client‑facing retail experience demonstrating meeting sales targets and managing high‑value transactions.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training or a certificate in retail, sales or hospitality is advantageous.
