OMEGA seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Brussels to lead retail operations and drive sales at a luxury watch boutique. Full-time, permanent role with competitive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide clear leadership and coaching to boutique sales team, communicating objectives, brand standards, and operational procedures while ensuring ongoing performance feedback and development
- Exceed boutique sales targets in accordance with OMEGA's retail strategy through effective customer acquisition, relationship building, and clienteling strategies utilizing CRM systems
- Oversee stock management, security, and visual merchandising standards in compliance with brand guidelines and the Retail Manual
- Manage administrative functions including monthly duty rosters, attendance monitoring, overtime verification, and submission for payroll processing
- Coordinate inventory reconciliation, stock takes, and ensure accurate reporting of sales and operational metrics to senior management
- Maintain records of staff attendance, leave documentation, petty cash, courier logs, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure boutique cleanliness, visual appeal, and adherence to VM guidelines while safeguarding timepiece inventory and boutique security
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in luxury retail
- At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in competitive retail environments
- Strong understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and ultra-high-net-worth customer expectations
- Bilingual fluency in French-English or Dutch-English
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and SAP
- Passion for luxury watches, fine craftsmanship, and brand heritage
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in luxury retail, with at least 2 years of proven supervisory or managerial responsibility. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within competitive, high-end retail environments.
