Officine Universelle Buly seeks Order Preparation Specialist in Chartres, France. Full-time warehouse role with forklift certification required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Verify incoming merchandise for conformity, quality, and quantity; report anomalies or damage immediately
- Review order documentation and accurately locate, retrieve, and stage items within the warehouse according to picking protocols
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, and forklifts (when certified) to move goods efficiently and safely
- Validate prepared orders against order documentation to ensure accuracy before packing
- Secure and package products using appropriate materials (cartons, protective films, wrapping) to maintain integrity during transit
- Label shipments with delivery addresses, order numbers, and tracking information
- Assist in loading merchandise onto delivery vehicles and coordinate outbound logistics
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
- Participate in regular and annual inventory counts
- Adhere to all health, safety, and internal procedural guidelines
Qualifications
- CACES 1, 3, and 5 certifications (or equivalent forklift and material handling certifications)
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or order preparation experience
- Demonstrated expertise in picking techniques and order fulfillment operations
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
