Business Analyst position at Officine Universelle Buly, Tokyo. Support Finance and Retail teams with data analysis, reporting, and business insights.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute weekly retail sales reports and performance analysis to monitor business trends and support strategic decision-making
- Compile and share weekly sales snapshots and key retail performance indicators to track store and channel performance across all retail channels
- Support the preparation of monthly retail sales reports and provide analytical insights for management review and forecasting
- Assist in preparing month-end closing net sales reporting and support financial analysis for Finance and Controlling teams
- Produce regular reports on sales by product category, including detailed commentary on key drivers and performance trends
- Support the review and reporting of sales orders for wholesale and corporate sales channels to ensure data accuracy and proper tracking
- Provide analytical support for business needs, including pricing strategy analysis, market trends research, competitor analysis, and performance-related projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, business analysis, or data analysis (internship experience acceptable)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver business insights
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to manage large datasets accurately
- Strong interest in retail business performance and sales analysis
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, controlling, business analysis, or data analysis. Internship experience in related fields is acceptable. Demonstrated experience with retail performance analysis, KPI monitoring, and financial reporting is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
