Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute weekly retail sales reports and performance snapshots to monitor trends and inform store/channel decisions.
- Compile and monitor retail KPIs and sales-by-category reports, providing explanatory commentary on drivers and trends.
- Support monthly sales performance analysis and contribute to month‑end closing net sales reporting for Finance and Controlling.
- Review and report on sales orders for wholesale and corporate channels to ensure data accuracy and appropriate tracking.
- Deliver ad‑hoc business analysis (pricing strategy, market trends, competitor benchmarking and other performance projects).
- Collaborate with Finance, Retail and cross‑functional teams to translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in finance, controlling, business analysis or data analysis (internship experience acceptable).
- Native‑level proficiency in either Japanese or English and business‑level proficiency in the other language.
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to meet regular reporting deadlines and manage large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and presentation of insights.
