The Visual Merchandising Intern supports Panerai project managers on POSM, window animations and special VM tools, coordinating purchasing, planning, stock, suppliers and markets worldwide. The role also maintains SAP purchasing data and develops VM guidelines, reports and surveys; it is a curricular internship with a €900 monthly allowance and an €8 meal voucher per working day.

Role & Responsibilities

• Analyze visual merchandising Point of Sale Material (POSM) and central and local stock, and develop action plans under the team’s guidance.
• Collect worldwide orders for POSM, window animations and special visual merchandising tools.
• Analyze worldwide consumption to prevent overstocking and stockouts and optimize order quantities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on tender processes and on-time deliveries of POSM, window animations and special visual merchandising tools, in line with production schedules.
• Coordinate window animations with internal team members, including collecting market orders, managing supplier prototyping and production, and coordinating logistics with local markets and suppliers.
• Update the main façade database and ensure markets update it for each new window animation.
• Maintain SAP purchase orders and create references and supplier records.
• Support the creation of visual merchandising guidelines covering POSM and window animations.
• Develop reports and presentations, including designing and conducting surveys to measure satisfaction and animation effectiveness.
• Support visual merchandising project managers across POSM, window animations and special visual merchandising tools.
• Manage POSM and gift material operations, including purchasing, planning, stock analysis, forecasting and order optimization.
• Handle window animation orders from collection and prototyping through production, logistics and database management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to complete projects, and liaise with markets to define their needs and logistical requirements and ensure procurement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Eligible for a curricular internship.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential; French is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• High reliability and a professional work ethic.
• Genuine interest in purchasing, planning and project coordination.
