Role & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service and repair haute horlogerie mechanical movements and complications to Panerai quality standards.
  • Assemble, regulate and adjust escapements, chronograph mechanisms, tourbillons and other high-complication components with micrometric precision.
  • Execute finishing operations and dimensional controls according to technical dossiers and quality control procedures.
  • Perform timing, water-resistance and endurance testing using industry-standard equipment; record results and corrective actions in service documentation.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality departments to report recurrent failures, suggest technical improvements and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain and calibrate specialised tools and bench equipment; ensure compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness protocols.

Qualifications

  • Swiss Watchmaking Diploma (CFC) or WOSTEP certification, or equivalent formal horological qualification.
  • Proven competence with haute horlogerie complications (e.g., chronograph, GMT, perpetual calendar, tourbillon).
  • Exceptional manual dexterity, visual acuity and experience under a microscope for micro-assembly tasks.
  • Fluent understanding of technical dossiers, service procedures and quality documentation.
