Role & Responsibilities
- Undertake a structured apprenticeship curriculum leading to the Swiss CFC in production mechanics, combining on-the-job training with vocational school attendance.
- Learn and perform precision machining and manufacturing operations on manual and CNC equipment under supervision.
- Assemble, adjust and test micro-mechanical components, ensuring conformity with detailed technical drawings and tight tolerances.
- Apply basic metrology techniques to measure parts (micrometer, caliper, dial indicator) and record quality data.
- Carry out routine maintenance of production equipment and follow shop-floor safety and cleanliness standards.
- Participate in continuous-improvement activities and follow quality-control procedures to meet company specifications.
Qualifications
- Completion of compulsory schooling with strong results in mathematics, physics or technical/practical subjects.
- Demonstrable interest in mechanics, microtechnology or watchmaking and motivation for a multi-year vocational programme.
- Good manual dexterity, hand–eye coordination and visual acuity for fine-detail work.
- Reliability, punctuality and readiness to work in a production team and attend vocational school.
- Eligibility to undertake a Swiss apprenticeship (work permit or residency as required).

Experience
No prior professional experience is required; the role is designed for candidates beginning a vocational apprenticeship. Practical experience from school workshops, hobby projects or internships in mechanical disciplines is advantageous.
Education
Completion of compulsory schooling; candidate must be eligible for a Swiss CFC apprenticeship in production mechanics and attend the associated vocational school programme.
