NetJets Site Manager, Service Hub Operations & Aircraft Maintenance position in Van Nuys, CA. Lead aircraft maintenance teams and vendors in a 24/7 Part 135 operation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct performance of multiple teams and suppliers delivering mission-ready aircraft in compliance with all SLAs, laws, and regulations, with oversight delegated to the Director of Maintenance for airworthiness functions
- Partner with the MRO supply chain to achieve SLAs and performance goals across unscheduled and line maintenance, interior repair, and cabin cleanliness and stocking
- Manage Service Hub vendors and provide leadership modelling the 20/20 Flight Plan, developing staff and vendors for improved performance
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics daily to ensure business goals and supplier SLAs are met, adjusting plans and communicating changes across all organisational levels
- Deliver improvements in safety, service, and financial targets through innovation aligned with the organisation's strategic priorities
- Maintain significant business relationships with suppliers at the local level, collaborating with Procurement and other NetJets functions
- Keep Operations informed and partner with the Maintenance Control Center, Line Planning Group, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Maintenance Training, and Operations Scheduling
- Foster teamwork and open communication whilst maintaining professional and technical knowledge through continuous professional development
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with FBOs, vendors, airport operations, and aviation stakeholders to enhance the NetJets brand
- Travel on an as-necessary basis to assist other Regional Service Hub sites, attend training, and visit local airport providers
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or Supply Chain and Logistics
- 10+ years of aircraft maintenance and operations experience, ideally in Part 135 operations
- Demonstrated expertise in business aviation maintenance supply chain management with recent field maintenance experience supporting business jet aircraft
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategies achieving company goals and supplier SLAs
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and ability to execute plans driving continuous improvement

Experience
10+ years in aircraft maintenance operations and supply chain management, with recent field experience supporting business jet aircraft in a Part 135 environment. Proven track record managing teams and external vendors to deliver mission-critical objectives.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, or a related field
