NetJets seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, maintain, and support software and data solutions, with technical leadership across engineering teams and a focus on secure, resilient systems. The role requires 4–6 years of experience, including system integration design, and a relevant bachelor’s degree; it works within an agile team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, maintain, and support software applications, services, and systems, ensuring they deliver business value and are ready for operational use.
  • Ensure application resilience, stability, security, and data protection through robust engineering practices, proactive monitoring, and adherence to organizational and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and contribute to product and feature definition, design, development, integration, testing, and documentation in alignment with established technology and architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with team members, functional-area colleagues, and business stakeholders to achieve business value.
  • Take ownership of commitments, deliver results with integrity, and ensure outcomes meet agreed goals.
  • Work within an agile team to deliver iteratively while fostering empiricism, learning, and continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field.
  • Previous work experience designing new system integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no supervision or guidance.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js or similar languages.
  • Experience and knowledge in AWS cloud-native engineering, including DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience in web development, mobile development, or software engineering projects as part of an educational curriculum is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
