NetJets seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to advise on complex legal matters across areas including employment law, contracts, benefits, regulatory compliance, and corporate work. The role manages litigation and agency matters, supports contract negotiations, and develops compliance training; it requires a Juris Doctor and 10+ years of experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage litigation, arbitrations, and agency actions involving NetJets, including overseeing outside counsel and handling matters internally when appropriate.
- Advise internal business clients on legal matters, including their rights, risks, and obligations.
- Research and analyze laws, regulations, and related cases, and monitor changes in the law.
- Assist with reviewing and negotiating contracts, including procurement, benefits, and fractional program contracts.
- Develop and deliver training on compliance matters, including employment, ethics, safety, FCPA, anti-bribery, privacy, and other laws.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD).
- 10+ years of experience.
- Excellent understanding of business issues and their connection to changing legal landscapes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent risk assessment skills.
- Ability to effectively partner with and counsel business partners.
- Ability to work effectively in a strong team environment.
