The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial and operational reporting and analysis, develops budgets and forecasts, evaluates profitability and supports executive decision-making at NetJets. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance and 4–6 years of experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate company reporting, including analysing and interpreting data trends and changes in business drivers.
  • Identify, assess and communicate issues affecting profitability.
  • Influence initiatives that improve profitability.
  • Advise assigned departments on budgets, accounting, and related financial matters and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain financial budget and forecasting models.
  • Analyse and interpret submitted financial and statistical information for trends, reasonableness and accuracy.
  • Report findings and recommend courses of action.
  • Ensure data is incorporated accurately and on schedule into the 10-year plan, in accordance with current accounting practices.
  • Develop and implement timely enhancements to model identified changes accurately and efficiently.
  • Lead, develop and document complex financial analysis projects.
  • Prepare fact-based presentations that explain financial terms in accessible language.
  • Support executive strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in developing business policies, conduct special financial and business studies, and collaborate with other departments on analyses.
  • Mentor, develop and advise junior Financial Analysts.
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate financial and operational performance reporting and analysis to operating groups as needed.
  • Support the CFO, other executives, and peers and managers in Finance and assigned functional departments.
  • Conduct business, financial and operational analyses to affect top- and bottom-line results and support senior-management decisions.
  • Update monthly reports, track performance against projections, work with department managers to develop budgets, investigate data inconsistencies, and assist with preparing, analysing and presenting monthly financial and operational reports to the Executive Management Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
  • Four to six years of experience.
  • Demonstrated progression to positions of increased responsibility and/or promotion.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and strong motivation for career advancement.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively, with initiative, confidence and drive to achieve results without explicit direction or detailed instructions.
