NetJets Senior Category Leader

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute category and supplier strategies across a complex global portfolio, with particular focus on key suppliers managing spend in excess of $20M
• Lead procurement and sourcing processes while maintaining strict compliance with NetJets purchasing systems, policies, and governance frameworks
• Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts that meet product and service requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Manage commercial and contractual relationships within assigned portfolio, resolving issues in a timely and expeditious manner
• Partner with suppliers to build capabilities and drive performance improvements in service, quality, cost, delivery, and innovation
• Apply advanced tools, techniques, and processes to develop robust strategies, manage supplier relationships, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Global Procurement, including process development, tool enhancement, and professional excellence programs
• Influence cross-functional decision-making through strong analytical and communication capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• 4–6 years of progressive experience managing purchasing portfolios in global, multi-functional environments
• Proven track record in supplier management and category strategy development
• Solid knowledge of business economics, cost structures, and contract management
• Deep understanding of industry cost drivers, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
• Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining timelines and achieving cost targets
• Expertise in conflict management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement
• Familiarity with program management tools and techniques

Skills

Experience

4–6 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or category strategy within a global business environment. Candidates should have demonstrated success managing complex purchasing portfolios that involve multi-functional coordination, tax and regulatory considerations, and industry-specific requirements. Prior experience with supplier performance management and strategic cost optimization is preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
