NetJets, the global private aviation leader, seeks a Security Specialist to maintain a secure and safe environment at its Home Office facilities. The role encompasses visitor management, security policy enforcement, emergency response coordination, facility patrols, incident investigation, access control system management (Lenel), and executive/owner transportation services. The position requires LEOSA certification to carry a concealed firearm and operates on a third shift schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and screen all visitors entering facilities, verify business purpose, and maintain visitor logs
- Enforce company security, life safety, and conduct policies across all facility premises
- Respond immediately to emergency situations including workplace violence, medical emergencies, fires, alarm notifications, and crimes in progress
- Conduct scheduled patrols of interior and exterior facilities on foot, bike, or vehicle to provide physical security and life safety protection
- Investigate and document loss, theft, and incident claims; conduct follow-up investigations using video review, document analysis, and witness interviews
- Manage facility access control using the Lenel system, including card creation, access modification, database maintenance, and reporting
- Provide secure escorts for associates to and from facilities during non-standard hours
- Assist with regular building inspections of fire safety systems, emergency equipment, elevators, and alarm systems
- Train and mentor newly assigned security associates on protocols, procedures, and security awareness
- Provide transportation services for NetJets executives and owners as assigned
- Monitor electronic security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, fire detection, intercoms, and other assigned systems
- Dispatch security and public safety personnel to alarm conditions across the country from the alarm monitoring center; maintain related databases and generate activity reports
- Maintain and troubleshoot alarm system hardware and software nationwide; coordinate with vendors during installation and provide end-user training
Qualifications
- Current eligibility and documentation to carry a concealed firearm under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA)
- Annual firearms qualification certification as required by federal law
- Proven knowledge of corporate safety and security practices, procedures, and equipment
- Proficiency with firearm and security console operation
- Personal computer skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations
- Physical capability to patrol facilities on foot, bike, or vehicle and perform security duties

Experience
2–4 years of professional security experience, preferably in corporate or facility security roles requiring armed officer credentials.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
