Role & Responsibilities
- Audit all regulatory part transactions in the electronic maintenance tracking system and maintain reports facilitating the audit process, ensuring time-tracked parts conform to proper documentation and approved maintenance programs
- Review off-wing engine and APU maintenance work records to verify compliance with 14 CFR 135 and General Maintenance Manual requirements, ensuring inspections, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and time-tracked parts are accurately recorded
- Review and approve parts created in the maintenance tracking system by Reliability Technical Services (RTS) and Maintenance Control Center (MCC) to verify part eligibility, applicability, and interchangeability; coordinate with Configuration department to resolve complex tracking issues
- Perform audit of all regulatory parts installed on new conformity aircraft and audit new or revised Maintenix programs to ensure the NetJets parts tracking system mirrors chapter 4 and chapter 5 limits
- Serve as technical lead for all departments concerning part installation, removal, usage, and life limits; identify common part tracking hazards and provide official guidance to reduce errors proactively
- Provide specialized technical guidance to personnel entering information into the tracking system through formal training sessions and direct instruction; collaborate with Maintenance Projects & Processes Manager to review and refine maintenance operational processes
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- 4 or more years performing aircraft heavy or line maintenance or serving as a lead mechanic
- 2 or more years managing and researching maintenance-related records
- Knowledge of aircraft regulatory agencies' policies and procedures
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
- Willingness to work nights, various shifts, and holidays
Skills
Experience
6–8 years of aircraft maintenance or quality assurance experience, including at least 4 years performing aircraft heavy or line maintenance or serving as a lead mechanic, and at least 2 years managing and researching maintenance-related records in a regulatory environment.
Education
High school diploma in Aviation Management or Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification in an aviation-related field.
