Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure safe flight operations through comprehensive flight planning, weight and balance calculations, and adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements
- Lead pre-flight briefings using Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to identify and mitigate operational risks
- Complete all pre-flight aircraft inspections and maintenance status reviews; record discrepancies in accordance with company protocols
- Oversee all aircraft ground servicing operations, including fueling, oil servicing, and oxygen systems
- Deliver passenger briefings in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy, addressing special passenger needs and accessibility requirements
- Coordinate security operations as defined by company policy, including grounds security and in-flight security protocols
- Apply Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to communicate clearly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory crewing and trip assignment requirements
- Identify opportunities to enhance service quality and collaborate with crew members and EJM internal partners to resolve service deviations
- Maintain current regulatory and company-required training; report safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels
Qualifications
- FAA Type rating in Global 7500 or equivalent heavy jet aircraft
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours instrument
- Minimum 500 hours jet experience
- Prior corporate or business aviation experience preferred
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate substantial international flying experience with heavy jet aircraft equivalent to or larger than the Global 7500, with evidence of consistent safe operations and regulatory compliance.
Education
Commercial Pilot License with Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) qualifications or equivalent; FAA certification in Multiengine Land aircraft required.
