NetJets Executive Jet Management seeks an experienced Pilot in Command for Gulfstream 280 operations based in Raleigh-Durham, NC. Stable, long-term career opportunity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure safe aircraft operation in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements, including crewing and trip assignment management
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- Conduct pre-flight inspections, monitor aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen), and record discrepancies according to company SOPs
- Lead required briefings using Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks
- Serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy
- Execute passenger briefings and deliver exceptional customer service while accommodating special needs
- Apply Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations
- Collaborate with crew members and internal partners to provide consistent service and resolve service deviations
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience, and compliance with the company SMS program
- Report safety and non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels
Qualifications
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours instrument flight
- Minimum 500 hours jet aircraft experience
- Current airline transport pilot (ATP) or commercial pilot certificate with appropriate ratings
- Current medical certificate appropriate for the operation
Skills
Experience
4–6 years of professional aviation experience, with prior corporate or business aviation background strongly preferred. Large-cabin Gulfstream experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; formal aviation academy or university-level aviation program preferred but not mandatory.
