NetJets Pilot in Command
Executive Jet Management seeks experienced Pilot in Command for Challenger 300 based in Phoenix, AZ. Part 135 operations, 3,500+ flight hours required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensures safe aircraft operation, including crewing assignments, flight planning, weight and balance calculations, and pre-flight inspections in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Leads Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefings and implements Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) protocols to mitigate operational risks
- Monitors and verifies all aircraft ground servicing requirements, including fuel, oil, oxygen, and maintenance status prior to each mission
- Conducts passenger briefings and delivers exceptional customer service while addressing special needs and identifying opportunities to enhance the service experience
- Acts as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator and records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company procedures
- Maintains current regulatory certifications and company-required training, ensures recency of experience, and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels
Qualifications
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours instrument flight
- Minimum 500 hours jet aircraft
- Current medical certificate and valid commercial pilot license with instrument rating
- Type rating in Challenger 300 (strongly preferred)
- Prior experience in Part 135 operations
Skills
Experience
Applicants must demonstrate substantial professional aviation experience in turbine-powered aircraft, with a minimum of 500 jet flight hours and at least 2,000 hours commanding multi-engine land aircraft. Prior involvement in Part 135 charter or corporate flight operations is essential. All candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Phoenix area immediately; this is not a commutable position.
Education
Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (Part 61 or equivalent); current Airman Medical Certificate (First or Second Class) required
