Executive Jet Management seeks a Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream 550 based in Miami, Florida (KOPF), on a two-pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician, operating under Part 135. The PIC is accountable for safe, compliant and efficient aircraft operations and exceptional passenger service; 4–6 years of experience and specified flight-time minimums are required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure crew assignments and trip schedules comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance tasks for each assignment as required.
- Lead required briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordinate with company personnel as required, and serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator under company policy.
- Complete aircraft pre-flight tasks, including reviewing maintenance status, to confirm mission readiness; record aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure aircraft ground servicing, including fueling, oil, and oxygen, is completed in accordance with SOPs.
- Conduct passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, deliver exceptional customer service, and accommodate passengers’ special needs.
- Use Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provide quality service to owners and passengers, identify opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and investigate and resolve service deviations regularly.
- Collaborate with crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistent service experience, resolving conflicts and challenges appropriately.
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Comply with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety or compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications
- Prior corporate or business aviation experience preferred.
- FAA type rating in the applicable fleet.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum flight time: 3,500 total hours; 1,500 Multi Engine Land (MEL) hours; 2,000 Pilot in Command hours; 500 PIC MEL hours; 300 instrument hours; and 500 jet hours.
