EJM seeks Pilot in Command for home-based Gulfstream G280 in Fort Worth, TX. P135 experience required, $190K–$285K+ annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure safe aircraft operations in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements, including crewing assignments, flight planning, weight and balance, and performance calculations
- Lead pre-flight and mission briefings using Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to identify and mitigate operational risks
- Execute all pre-flight aircraft inspections, monitor maintenance status, record discrepancies per company procedures, and ensure mission capability
- Coordinate ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) and manage passenger briefings while delivering exceptional customer service and accommodation of special needs
- Apply Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) protocols during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations
- Serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator per company policy
- Investigate and resolve service deviations; collaborate with crew members and EJM personnel to provide consistent service experiences
- Maintain all regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience, and compliance with SMS program requirements
- Report safety concerns and non-compliance issues through appropriate channels
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating under FAA Part 135 regulations
- FAA Type Rating in Gulfstream G280 (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours Instrument
- Minimum 500 hours Jet time
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in Part 135 operations is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong professional background in commercial or corporate jet operations, with proven proficiency in multi-engine land aircraft and established competency in instrument flying and jet operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; commercial pilot certification and ratings as specified in qualifications section mandatory.
