NetJets EJM seeking Pilot in Command for Gulfstream G450 based in Gary, IN. ATP certification and 3,500+ flight hours required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of crewing and trip assignments with company and regulatory requirements
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- Lead briefings using Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks
- Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures and coordinate with company personnel; serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight aircraft inspections and verify maintenance status to ensure mission capability
- Monitor and oversee all ground servicing requirements including fueling, oil, and oxygen replenishment
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings and exceptional customer service, addressing special passenger needs
- Apply Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles during all flight phases
- Investigate and resolve service deviations to enhance the EJM service experience
- Collaborate with crew members and internal partners to ensure consistent service delivery
- Maintain regulatory compliance and company-required training and recency of experience
- Report safety concerns and non-compliance issues through appropriate channels and comply with SMS program requirements
Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification
- First Class Medical Certificate
- FAA Type rating in Gulfstream G450
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours Instrument
- Minimum 500 hours Jet experience
Skills
Experience
4-6 years of professional aviation experience, with prior experience in corporate or business aviation preferred. Demonstrated experience operating pressurized business jets and managing multi-crew aircraft operations.
Education
Commercial pilot certification with instrument rating required as prerequisite to ATP certification.
