Executive Jet Management seeks a Pilot in Command for Global 5000 operations in Bridgeport, CT. $275K–$350K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance tasks for each assignment
- Conduct Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefings to identify and mitigate operational risks
- Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and serve as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- Execute pre-flight inspections to verify aircraft mission capability and record maintenance discrepancies in accordance with SOPs
- Monitor and oversee all aircraft ground servicing operations including fueling, oil, and oxygen replenishment
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings and provide premium customer service accommodating all special passenger needs
- Communicate with crew and support personnel using Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations
- Provide quality service to aircraft owners and passengers while investigating and resolving service deviations
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to maintain consistent service experience
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience
- Report safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels and comply with company Safety Management System (SMS) program
Qualifications
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet or equivalent aircraft experience
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours instrument
- Minimum 500 hours jet experience
- Prior experience in corporate or business aviation preferred
Skills
Experience
Prior corporate or business aviation experience preferred. Demonstrated experience operating similarly-sized multi-engine jet aircraft. Proficiency with regulatory compliance and company operational standards required.
Education
FAA commercial pilot license with instrument and multi-engine ratings required. FAA Type rating in applicable fleet preferred.
