Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely from taxi, takeoff, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manuals (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs)
  • Greet owners and passengers pre-flight, conduct comprehensive flight briefings, verify itinerary details, provide weather updates, and deliver mandatory safety briefings
  • Deliver in-flight service including responsible handling of alcohol and catering service delivery
  • Load, stow, and secure all passenger baggage and cargo according to weight-and-balance protocols and aircraft procedures
  • Accommodate flights for owners with pets and those who smoke, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism
  • Serve as final authority on all aircraft operational decisions with respect to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Act as primary liaison between NetJets owners, passengers, and operations from FBO arrival through final destination departure
  • Communicate all maintenance abnormalities, discrepancies, and technical issues to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) controller assigned to their fleet
  • Complete all required documentation associated with maintenance discrepancies and regulatory compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational requirements and regional assignments

Qualifications

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating
  • Minimum 1,500 total flight hours (or 1,250 with appropriate university R-ATP, 1,000 with military pilot qualification or university R-ATP)
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nautical miles)
  • 250 hours fixed-wing PIC (Pilot in Command)
  • 100 hours night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings
  • 75 hours instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight; simulator time excluded)
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
  • Valid U.S. passport with international travel authorization
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Fluent English language ability (read, write, speak, and comprehend)
  • TSA background screening clearance and airport security badge eligibility
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • ATP written examination completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training

Prior private aviation, charter, or corporate flight experience is highly valued; military pilot qualification or experience with sophisticated aircraft systems is advantageous.
