NetJets Pilot (First Officer)
NetJets seeks a First Officer for the Midwest Region to operate private aircraft and deliver exceptional passenger experiences. Base salary $86,015–$117,706.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct safe aircraft operations from taxi, takeoff, and landing in compliance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs)
- Greet owners and passengers pre-flight, provide introductions, brief them on flight itineraries, deliver weather updates and safety briefings, and communicate any changes to scheduled routes
- Deliver in-flight service including the handling and service of alcohol and catering
- Load and properly stow all passenger baggage and cargo within aircraft
- Conduct flights accommodating owners with pets and those who smoke, ensuring appropriate handling and care throughout the flight
- Maintain final authority on the aircraft regarding all operational decisions, ensuring strict compliance with safety and regulatory guidance
- Act as liaison between owners, passengers, and NetJets from initial arrival at the Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) through final destination and departure
- Report maintenance abnormalities and discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) controller responsible for the assigned fleet and complete associated documentation
- Execute additional duties as assigned based on operational requirements
Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) with multi-engine rating; candidates must meet ATP certificate requirements per 14 CFR 61.160, including minimum flight hours (1,500 total, or 1,250 with appropriate university R-ATP, or 1,000 with military pilot qualification or university R-ATP), 200 hours cross-country flight time, 250 hours fixed-wing PIC, 100 hours night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs/landings), 75 hours instrument time, 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
- ATP written examination completed prior to Indoctrination Training commencement
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Valid United States passport authorizing unrestricted international travel
- Valid state driver's license
- Authorization to work in the U.S. with ability to travel in and out of the country without restriction
- Ability to obtain and maintain Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background clearance and appropriate airport authority/U.S. Customs security badges
- Fluent English language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
- Minimum 21 years of age

The role demands demonstrated proficiency in multi-engine, fixed-wing operations and cross-country flight experience. High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university education is not mandated, though aviation-focused tertiary qualifications (such as those from approved ATP or R-ATP university programs) are advantageous and may reduce minimum flight-hour requirements.
