The Material Component Supervisor manages component expediting and repair orders for NetJets-owned components, and supports regional teams with core and unused-part returns, warranty processing, and related component issues. Candidates must live within commuting distance of a NetJets location in Dallas, Teterboro, Columbus, West Palm Beach, or Van Nuys.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all component expediting functions.
- Serve as the escalation point for Regional Component Expeditor issues.
- Use ERP systems to view purchase orders, repair orders, and work order information.
- Reconcile consignment discrepancies.
- Create and manage repair orders for NetJets-owned components.
- Manage and authorize stock corrections.
- Analyze the consolidated Core Tracker Report.
- Assist Regional Component Expeditors with processing cores and unused-part returns.
- Assist Regional Component Expeditors with processing parts covered under warranty.
- Analyze core fees weekly and submit disputes when required.
- Provide weekly core-return updates to leadership.
- Meet with OEMs weekly and provide updates on outstanding cores.
- Review and assist with the scrap process.
- Coordinate with Warranty Finance to reduce lost warranties.
- Advise and assist Material Planners.
- Advise and assist the Manager for Material Planning and Component Repair.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Logistics.
- 6–8 years of experience.
- Experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, or related experience.
- Customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Purchasing experience.
- Repair Cycle Management experience.
- Leadership experience.
