NetJets seeks Manager, Software Engineering (Contact Center Technologies) in Columbus, OH to lead enterprise communications platforms and engineering teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and manage performance of telecom and collaboration technical resources aligned with service reliability, delivery outcomes, and business objectives
- Coach and mentor engineers, technical leads, and supervisors to maximize individual potential and achieve organizational goals
- Lead development and execution of strategic roadmaps for enterprise voice, contact center, messaging, telecom, and collaboration platforms
- Ensure team possesses appropriate skills, capacity, documentation, and operational readiness to support Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Teams Phone, carrier services, and related integrations
- Collaborate across the organization on cross-functional initiatives requiring multiple technology and business groups
- Provide technical direction for platform architecture, call routing, carrier connectivity, cloud communications, monitoring, resiliency, and disaster recovery
- Prioritize business value, technology modernization, security, risk management, and operational stability
- Maintain accountability for availability, performance, scalability, resilience, and security of supported telecom and collaboration services
- Lead complex technical implementations, platform upgrades, migrations, and automations while managing scope, schedule, and budget
- Establish culture of continuous improvement through incident reduction, improved restoration times, and enhanced platform stability
- Provide leadership during major incidents, escalations, vendor issues, and root-cause investigations
- Establish and maintain monitoring, capacity planning, change management, problem management, and disaster recovery practices
- Partner with Cybersecurity and Architecture teams to ensure platforms follow established security policies and architectural standards
- Manage carrier, vendor, and licensing relationships including adherence to delivery commitments and service levels
- Identify opportunities for engineering efficiency through automation, standardization, and improved operational processes
- Develop and communicate service metrics, platform health information, project updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Experience supporting complex enterprise telecom, unified communications, contact center, or collaboration environments with leadership experience in similar roles at mid-sized or large enterprises
- Experience leading teams responsible for business-critical voice, contact center, collaboration, messaging, or communications platforms
- Working knowledge of Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Teams Phone, enterprise telephony, SIP, call routing, and contact center technologies
- Experience managing availability, performance, security, resiliency, and lifecycle of mission-critical technology platforms
- Strong understanding of incident, problem, change, release, capacity, availability, and service continuity management practices
- Experience managing telecom carriers, technology vendors, licensing agreements, and professional services relationships
- Knowledge of cloud communications, APIs, platform integrations, automation, and monitoring technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts across all organizational levels
- Strong negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to build, coach, mentor, and retain high-performing technical teams

8–10 years of experience in enterprise telecom, unified communications, contact center technologies, or collaboration environments, with demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams in mid-sized or large organizations
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
