NetJets Manager, FBO Services
NetJets seeks an experienced Manager, FBO Services in Columbus, Ohio to oversee private aviation ground operations, staff, and regulatory compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all FBO services, including aircraft parking, departure coordination, fueling, towing, de-icing, and cleaning operations
- Maintain compliance with company, state, local, and federal safety, environmental, and applicable aviation regulations
- Oversee mandatory training requirements, identify training needs, and develop training programs; maintain records and coordinate with airport authorities
- Monitor FBO flight schedules, assign and prioritize work, and ensure adequate team member coverage to meet operational demands
- Manage staff performance, conduct evaluations, and ensure employees operate within collective bargaining agreement rules; coordinate with local union representation on labor matters
- Coordinate aircraft parking, movement, and hangar requirements with Maintenance and Operations departments
- Ensure proper documentation of all services provided and accurate billing of services rendered
- Maintain 14 CFR 139.321(E)(1) Fueling Supervisor status and ensure fueling operations compliance
- Oversee inventory management, procurement of required operational resources, and preventative maintenance of ground support equipment
- Develop and implement policies and procedures governing line service operations
- Cultivate relationships with customers, vendors, internal departments, suppliers, and airport authorities to support operational continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum five years of FBO management experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and obtain AOA badge
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR 139.321 aircraft fueling requirements; fueling supervisor certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in aircraft de-icing operations, equipment, and requirements
- Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement (preferred)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
Skills
Experience
6–8 years of progressive experience in FBO or aviation ground services management, with demonstrated expertise in safety compliance, staff leadership, and operational efficiency in a unionized environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field; high school diploma or GED certificate is a minimum requirement if degree is not held.
