NetJets seeks Maintenance Operations Controller in Columbus, OH. Coordinate aircraft maintenance, manage airworthiness tracking, and ensure FAA compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee safe, compliant, and timely repair of all grounded aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, NetJets General Maintenance Manual, and approved maintenance documentation
- Serve as primary point of contact regarding aircraft out-of-service status and real-time mechanical status reporting to the System Operations Center and dispatch
- Coordinate maintenance, tooling, and parts support across all maintenance providers and internal departments, escalating procurement issues through management as needed
- Liaise with the System Operations Center to maintain current aircraft maintenance status and ensure affected departments remain informed of grounded aircraft
- Collaborate with Director of Maintenance, Flight Operations Duty Manager, MCC Managers/Supervisors, pilots, maintenance vendors, and aircraft certification stakeholders
- Monitor and expedite shipping of parts for grounded aircraft located away from line or base stations to minimize downtime
- Track real-time airworthiness status of each aircraft and communicate this information to System Operations Center/Dispatch
- Manage approved deferral and tracking programs to maintain airworthiness controls for in-service aircraft
- Coordinate with pilots via phone and software applications to evaluate and disposition aircraft maintenance faults
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Authorization to work in the United States per the Immigration Act of 1986
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain focused under pressure

Experience
2–4 years of direct maintenance operations experience, with a preferred 5–8 years exercising an active FAA Airframe & Powerplant license in an aviation environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
