NetJets seeks a Maintenance Finance Specialist in Paço de Arcos, Portugal. Audit and manage aircraft maintenance invoices and vendor relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Audit and monitor all maintenance-related invoices to assess the reasonableness and appropriateness of time and material charges against the maintenance performed
- Maintain and update invoice, warranty, purchase order, and cost program files to ensure data accuracy and comprehensive maintenance cost control
- Classify and record aircraft maintenance invoices according to aircraft cost classification and ATA (Aircraft Transportation Association) codes, ensuring proper accounting integration and timely invoice payment
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to facilitate exceptional customer service and effective query resolution
- Maintain organized and updated registers containing aircraft details, maintenance rates, and vendor information to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities
- Process warranty claims in accordance with negotiated warranty terms and track corresponding credits to ensure correct and timely reimbursement
- Support the Team Leader in implementing effective cost control programs and cost-saving initiatives, identifying excessive spending and analyzing contracted maintenance flat rates
- Identify maintenance trends and support the Team Leader in aircraft maintenance finance analysis to inform strategic planning
- Develop and maintain effective communication with maintenance vendors, supplier counterparts, and aircraft manufacturers to enhance cooperation and secure favorable agreements regarding maintenance costs
Qualifications
- University degree in Management, Economics, or similar discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar maintenance finance or aviation finance roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAA, EASA, NAA, and ICAO aviation regulations
- Strong financial and accounting skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in IT software including Excel, MS Access, and MXi-Maintenix
- Excellent English language proficiency (both written and spoken)

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in maintenance finance, aviation accounting, or a closely related role demonstrating proficiency in invoice auditing, cost analysis, and vendor management within the aviation or manufacturing sectors.
