Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse short and long-term aircraft maintenance planning in coordination with Charter, Flight Care, Owner Experience teams, and Service Centres
- Monitor individual aircraft maintenance status and Computerized Maintenance Tracking System updates to ensure timely completion of required inspections and time-change components
- Procure maintenance slots, schedule, monitor, and control maintenance actions performed by approved service centres to minimize aircraft downtime
- Manage subcontracted maintenance teams to achieve Service Level Agreements deliverables and EJME service objectives whilst maintaining compliance with company standards
- Develop, update, and optimize aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MELs) in liaison with Flight Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and safe dispatch capability
- Develop, update, and optimize Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP) to meet EASA and ANAC requirements whilst improving availability and safety
- Analyse, review, and negotiate maintenance proposals to control costs while maintaining EJME standards
- Provide technical maintenance support to flight crews for timely decision-making during aircraft On Ground (AOG) and unscheduled events
- Manage maintenance events to maximize aircraft availability, maintainability, cost efficiency, and safety
- Coordinate maintenance cost approvals with Owners, monitor invoices against approved budgets, and validate spending
- Review and approve maintenance Contract Change Orders to control aircraft costs and additional maintenance requirements
- Analyse manufacturer Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to improve fleet availability, maintainability, and safety
- Review and update Continuous Airworthiness Management Exposition and internal procedures to ensure EASA and ANAC certification compliance
- Oversee Continuous Analysis and Surveillance Programme by reviewing reliability data and proposing aircraft modifications
- Develop and maintain relationships with competent authorities, Original Equipment Manufacturers, vendors, and aircraft owners
- Inform operational departments of grounded aircraft status changes
- Propose operational excellence improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Report unusual aircraft continuing airworthiness activities to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering for regulatory notification
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or extensive aircraft experience supported by Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) Part 66 Category C
- 3 to 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance within a Part-M or Part-145 Maintenance Organization
- Formal technical training in aircraft maintenance
- Excellent aircraft technical manual interpretation skills
- Reliability data interpretation and analysis experience
- Knowledge of EASA, FAA, ICAO, and NAA regulations and requirements
- Fluency in Business English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
