Role & Responsibilities
- Plan overnight maintenance activities to meet operational needs, maximize inspection yield, and minimize costs while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Coordinate logistical requirements including vendor capabilities, technician availability, parts procurement, tooling, and aircraft routing
- Balance service hub workload distribution to optimize vendor utilization and prevent labor inefficiencies
- Prioritize maintenance work to ensure optimal fleet mix availability for subsequent operational requirements
- Execute assigned projects, campaigns, and fleet initiatives to align with departmental goals, service-level agreements, and performance metrics
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with Scheduling, Service Hub Managers, Vendors, Materials, MCC, and Base Planning departments
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in aviation-related field or equivalent professional background
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated understanding of planning and logistics principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Self-motivated and adaptable to operational change
Skills
Experience
2–4 years of experience in an aviation-related field or equivalent professional background. Prior aircraft maintenance planning experience, military equivalent, completion of a 4-year aviation or business degree, or an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
