NetJets Lead Pilot in Command

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage critical client relationships while balancing organizational and client needs; proactively communicate to address emerging issues or opportunities
• Oversee maintenance personnel coordination to ensure compliance with all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance events and routine administrative tasks
• Execute flight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance analysis for each assignment
• Utilize Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead pre-flight briefings and mitigate operational risks
• Lead crew resource management and threat and error management protocols during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations
• Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements for crew assignments and trip allocations
• Conduct comprehensive aircraft pre-flight inspections, maintenance status verification, and mission-capability assessment
• Record and manage aircraft discrepancies in accordance with established SOPs
• Monitor and coordinate ground servicing operations including fueling, oil, and oxygen replenishment
• Deliver passenger briefings and premium customer service while accommodating special passenger requirements
• Support crew development and maintain proficiency standards across the flight department
• Manage flight department administration, including supplies procurement, subscriptions, crew scheduling, and crew communications
• Ensure all crewmembers maintain regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience, and qualification standards
• Report safety concerns and non-compliance issues through appropriate channels in accordance with company SMS protocol
• Act as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy

Qualifications

• Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
• Minimum 1,500 Multi Engine Land (MEL) hours
• Minimum 2,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours
• Minimum 500 PIC MEL hours
• Minimum 300 instrument flight hours
• Minimum 500 jet aircraft flight hours
• FAA Type rating in applicable fleet aircraft
• Demonstrated ability to perform all essential job functions associated with the position

Skills

Experience

4–6 years of professional aviation experience; prior experience in corporate or business aviation is strongly preferred.

Education

Commercial pilot certification with appropriate ratings; medical certification as required by FAA regulations.
