Executive Jet Management is hiring a Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Intern at its Cincinnati headquarters for a paid 10-week internship running June 7–August 13, 2027. The flexible schedule accommodates students, with 35–40 hours per week expected and participation in company events encouraged; local Cincinnati-area students are preferred, and relocation is the student's responsibility.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete department-assigned projects in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with a department mentor, set goals, and monitor progress.
  • Develop an understanding of EJM operations, approaches, methodologies, and tools.
  • Support recruitment by posting job openings, screening résumés, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding by preparing materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring new hires have the necessary resources.
  • Create and maintain accurate, confidential employee records.
  • Enter data into HR systems and generate reports on metrics.
  • Support compliance with labor laws and regulations by assisting with audits and record-keeping.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and filing documents.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor's degree; the internship is intended for students with sophomore through senior undergraduate standing studying Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Task-oriented, organized, and conscientious.
  • Clear, professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated, positive, personable, and able to develop relationships.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience in internet research; comfortable with Excel spreadsheets, tracking, and analysis.
  • Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information.
