NetJets FOQA Specialist role in Columbus, OH: analyze flight data using GDRAS, support safety programs, and enhance aviation operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support FOQA Program Manager with daily administration of FOQA efforts, including validation of FOQA events, identification of events for Gatekeeper contacts, and identification of events for Maintenance reporting
- Perform data analysis and root cause analysis on digital flight data to determine adverse events and trends in flight and maintenance operations
- Coordinate and validate aircraft-specific event definitions, maintain and identify new FOQA events, and manage supporting documentation
- Prepare flight operations trending analysis charts and reports; compile and present FOQA data summaries to enhance training, maintenance, and flight operations
- Perform specialized studies and fulfill special data requests to support safety enhancement initiatives
- Oversee data collection processes for the aircraft fleet in conjunction with Maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Engineering
- Basic computer programming and statistical methods experience
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, including spreadsheet and database applications
- Previous experience maintaining and enhancing corporate safety standards and safe operation practices
- FAA Commercial Pilot License or higher (preferred)
- Prior experience with Austin Digital or equivalent GDRAS platforms (preferred)
- Knowledge of aircraft flight data recorders (preferred)
- Prior work experience in 14 CFR Part 121 or 135 air carrier operations, quality control, maintenance, operations, safety, or combinations thereof (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Engineering.
