NetJets seeks a Scheduling Specialist in Columbus, OH to optimize flight schedules and manage crew operations for the global private aviation leader.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize current and next-day flight schedules by efficiently assigning Owner flight requests to NetJets aircraft and crews, incorporating new bookings, maintenance events, and booking changes
- Manage all aspects of the current day's flight schedule, ensuring timely communication and implementation of required changes through proactive and reactive measures
- Serve as the primary liaison between crew members and the flight center, building relationships and providing detailed information to ensure clarity and operational efficiency
- Gather and disseminate essential operational information from crew members and supporting departments involved in daily operations
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining a robust and reliable flight schedule in a dynamic environment
- Proactively identify operational challenges and anticipate alternative options to ensure crew members can focus on their core responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Management, Logistics, or Military science
- Strong understanding of the NetJets business model and operational flight plan
- Demonstrated experience in fast-paced, dynamic work environments with proven multitasking capability
- Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on all job-related functions and tasks
- Basic knowledge of domestic and international geography
- Basic knowledge of aviation weather and NOTAMs
- Ability to manage, make decisions, and problem-solve with multiple competing variables and priorities
