NetJets Fleet Maintenance Director role in Florida, overseeing aircraft maintenance operations, airworthiness, budgets, and maintenance teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for aircraft owners, internal departments, technicians, and pilots on maintenance and Part 135 certificate matters.
  • Ensure maintenance production schedules comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain owner and team experiences in line with EJM service standards and brand, including account and aircraft onboarding, crew hiring, aircraft operations, and billing.
  • Participate in aircraft conformity, including resolving discrepancies, overseeing maintenance budgets and approvals, and building owner trust through frequent, timely communication.
  • Monitor aircraft maintenance schedules to maximize availability and minimize costs for owners and EJM.
  • Advise the Fleet Maintenance office on day-to-day tactical responsibilities for assigned aircraft and on return-to-service and airworthiness releases.
  • Act as the ongoing maintenance contact for other EJM departments, coordinating onboarding, maintenance status, aircraft budgets, and short- and long-term planning.
  • Manage direct reports and/or out-based maintenance technicians.
  • Travel to and communicate with OEM and MRO maintenance providers to ensure efficient, effective maintenance visits while maintaining safety and controlling costs.
  • Manage spare-parts inventories, core returns, warranty claims, and service-plan coverage.
  • Ensure aircraft records are maintained to company standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or Aviation.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with a maintenance tracking system program.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adjust priorities to meet changing organizational and operational needs.
  • Able to travel up to 75%.
  • Must reside in the state of Florida.
  • Understanding of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices; 14 CFR Chapter I (Federal Aviation Regulations); the company’s Operations Specifications; applicable maintenance and airworthiness requirements under the Federal Aviation Regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 1, 21, 23, 25, 43, 45, 47, 65, 91, and 135; and the manual system required by 14 CFR 135.21.
