NetJets Fleet Maintenance Controller

Role & Responsibilities

• Track, schedule, and coordinate maintenance requirements on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events whilst ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and EJM procedures
• Verify that all maintenance performed on EJM aircraft adheres to FAA regulations and manufacturer maintenance procedures; review and validate documentation prior to aircraft release to service
• Verify individuals performing maintenance hold appropriate ratings and training; accurately input maintenance data into Maintenix computerized tracking system, including task activation and cancellation per manufacturer specifications
• Ensure maintenance providers performing Airworthiness Release are current with EJM training; monitor maintenance in progress and review fleet maintenance due lists to identify scheduling gaps and communicate aircraft operational capability impacts to Flight Operations and Owner Services
• Provide technical support and guidance to pilots on aircraft discrepancies and systems interpretation; assist in research of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to confirm fleet compliance and airworthiness status
• Conduct audits of aircraft due lists; authorize vendor approvals for one-time AOG maintenance use; coordinate transportation and equipment arrangements for maintenance personnel during unscheduled events
• Maintain accurate weight and balance documentation and forward updates to appropriate departments; ensure maintenance lines are recorded in iJet system and aircraft are released only upon complete documentation approval
• Support technicians on airframe and engine systems troubleshooting; provide access to and guidance on maintenance manual data, parts information, and technical documentation for all aircraft models

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification (required)
• Associate's degree in Aviation (required)
• 2–4 years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent in aircraft operations and maintenance coordination
• Demonstrated expertise with Maintenix computerized maintenance tracking systems
• Proficiency with FAA Form 337, STCs, ICAs, weight & balance calculations, and equipment list changes
• Strong knowledge of MEL (Minimum Equipment List) procedures and flight squawk documentation protocols
• Error-free paperwork skills with attention to detail for airworthiness-critical documentation

Skills

Experience

2–4 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably in a large-fleet environment with exposure to charter or management operations. Demonstrated experience with FAA compliance, maintenance documentation, and coordination with multiple internal departments.

Education

Associate's degree in Aviation required.
