NetJets Financial Analyst position in Paço de Arcos, Portugal. Support strategic aircraft maintenance planning and executive decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the line manager and area controller in formulating the business's medium to long-term aircraft maintenance costs and strategic plan
- Prepare business plans, cash flow analysis, return on investment metrics, profit & loss impacts, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis to support executive-level strategic decisions
- Prepare ongoing business reviews with various financial scenarios and indicators to inform business strategy planning
- Support monthly reporting and closing accounts, providing guidance on complex accounting operations and variance justification
- Exercise judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work; monitor performance and report status within area of responsibility
- Liaise with different business units to assess needs and identify best business development opportunities through potential investments and new products/services
- Prepare financial and operational analysis of business variables, risks, and trends to support decision-making processes
- Analyse and interpret financial and operating results, investigate variances, make recommendations on corrective actions, and develop meaningful KPIs
- Develop and provide ad-hoc reports requested by departments across Finance, Operations, and central functions with accurate data
Qualifications
- University degree in Management, Economics, or similar discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial analyst role preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software and familiarity with finance databases
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience in analytics tools
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel with spreadsheet creation and advanced formula usage
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
- Fluency in Business English
- Solid organizational skills with ability to work under tight deadlines
Skills
Experience
2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business planning, and financial reporting roles. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience preparing financial reports, creating budgets, and developing forecasts.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, or similar discipline.
