NetJets seeks Benefits Specialist in Columbus, OH to manage group benefits programs, vendor coordination, and ERISA compliance for the global private aviation leader.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for all benefit vendors; lead weekly and bi-weekly vendor coordination calls and manage the establishment of processes for efficient and accurate data file transfer between NetJets systems and vendor platforms, including leading audits related to data file accuracy and completeness
- Research employee benefit plans and vendor offerings to support benefits strategy; analyze current benefits programs evaluating utilization, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends; assist with the design and implementation of new benefits programs
- Perform routine operational and plan audits, including preparing, collecting, and organizing data for internal and external audit needs and requests to ensure compliance and program integrity
- Provide oversight of compliance-related requirements including ERISA regulations; coordinate and ensure completion of various government surveys, tests, and returns; stay abreast of new legislation and research regulatory changes to understand broader impact to current programs and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4–6 years of experience in benefits administration or related field
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, particularly ERISA
- Demonstrated expertise in systems analysis and the ability to determine how systems should function and how changes affect outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational acumen

4–6 years of professional experience in benefits administration, employee benefits programs, or related human resources functions, with demonstrated capability in managing vendor relationships and conducting benefits program analysis.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
