NetJets seeks an Associate Software Engineer to design, build, test, maintain, and support software applications and systems for private aviation operations, customer experience, and logistics. The role contributes to resilient, secure solutions and iterative delivery within an agile team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, maintain, and support software applications, services, and systems, ensuring they deliver business value and are ready for operational use.
- Ensure application resiliency, stability, security, and data protection through robust engineering practices, proactive monitoring, and adherence to organizational and industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members, colleagues across the functional area, and business stakeholders to achieve business value.
- Take ownership of commitments, deliver results with integrity, and ensure outcomes meet agreed goals.
- Work within an agile team to deliver iteratively while fostering empiricism, learning, and continuous improvement in delivery practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field.
- Previous internship or work experience as an entry-level engineer is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Java, C/C++, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience in web development, mobile development, or software engineering projects as part of an educational curriculum is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge of cloud services such as AWS is a plus.
