NetJets seeks an Associate Software Engineer to design, build, test, maintain, and support software and systems for private aviation, working collaboratively in an agile team and applying robust practices for resilience, security, and data protection. Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, maintain, and support software applications, services, and systems, ensuring they deliver business value and are ready for operational use.
  • Ensure application resilience, stability, security, and data protection through robust engineering practices, proactive monitoring, and adherence to organizational and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members, functional-area colleagues, and business stakeholders to achieve business value.
  • Take ownership of commitments, deliver results with integrity, and ensure outcomes meet agreed-upon goals.
  • Work within an agile team to deliver outcomes iteratively while fostering empiricism, learning, and continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field.
  • A previous internship or entry-level engineering work experience of 0–2 years is preferred.
  • Strong programming skills in languages and technologies such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience and knowledge in AWS cloud-native engineering, including DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience in web development, mobile development, or software engineering projects as part of an educational curriculum is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
