The Associate Sales Executive develops prospective Owner relationships and manages lead follow-up, new-business prospecting, sales progression, closing, and post-close handoffs, in partnership with Sales Executives and outside sales teams. The role also supports Owner onboarding and account service, and is designed to build skills for progression to Sales Executive.
Role & Responsibilities
- Generate leads through market research within the assigned geographic territory.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of sales interactions and opportunities in SalesForce.
- Prospect using a variety of techniques, with a strong emphasis on new business.
- Develop new business opportunities and travel to meet prospective Owners in person.
- Partner with outside sales teams to guide prospective buyers through the sales cycle.
- Onboard new Owners and service existing accounts as needed.
- Establish, build, and expand relationships with existing and prospective customers through regional activity, NetJets affinity partnerships, and personal networks.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective Owners and guide them through the sales process, including prospecting, lead follow-up, developing interest, closing, and post-close handoff to an Account Executive and Owner Services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales or Business.
- 4–6 years of experience.
- Must be self-motivated and results-driven.
- Knowledge of the assigned territory and the full range of NetJets products and services, as well as those of its competitors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com or other CRMs is a plus.
- Must be able to travel to industry trade shows, client events, and prospect or Owner meetings.
