NetJets Architectural Designer

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordination point for all project stakeholders, managing timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery
• Prepare comprehensive design options and feasibility studies prior to engaging design professionals
• Select and negotiate with contractors and vendors to meet project requirements and budgetary constraints
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet requirements, comply with building codes and regulations, and remain feasible within budget and timeline parameters
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timeline, and budget; identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT from field sketches, site visits, and team input
• Prepare complete and accurate renderings from sketches, notes, and meeting documentation
• Conduct field measurements and develop as-built drawings with precision
• Review shop drawings and provide technical feedback to consulting design professionals
• Develop and maintain design manuals for NetJets Corporate Standards, ensuring compliance across all branded environments
• Update and maintain architecture and design standards documentation and corporate playbooks
• Manage facility mapping systems and coordinate updates for workspace modifications, relocations, and expansions
• Maintain the Materials Library by obtaining samples and organizing design standards
• Support technical documentation development with accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
• Knowledge of Design Manuals for branded environments
• Familiarity with National CAD standards
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing building codes
• Ability to field measure and produce as-built drawings
• Ability to understand and interpret contract documents, plans, and specifications
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of construction trades including millwork, wood and steel framing, concrete, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems (preferred)

Skills

Experience

Minimum three (3) years of professional experience working in the Engineering, Construction, or Architecture industry, with demonstrated proficiency in design coordination and technical documentation.

Education

Minimum Associate's degree (2 years) in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or Drafting Technology. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
