NetJets Application Platform Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Install, patch, upgrade, configure, and administer enterprise platforms including Office 365, Proofpoint, Jaspersoft, RightFax, LucidChart, and other SaaS platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems for onsite and remote users across a global environment
• Support Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI platform readiness activities, including admin configuration, feature validation, agent and connector governance, usage reporting, and stakeholder coordination
• Maintain SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, group, and distribution list governance through permissions reviews, ownership validation, site lifecycle management, and secure sharing controls
• Create and maintain operational runbooks, support documentation, early-alert processes, and automation to reduce manual effort and shorten incident response times
• Administer SaaS platforms including licensing, vendor escalations, and operational support across collaboration, communication, and productivity services
• Participate in enterprise platform improvement projects from initiation to closure, ensuring proactive feature and security patching
• Adhere to critical system patching SLAs while minimizing system availability impact in a 24/7/365 global environment and ensure compliance with Cyber Security policies
• Provide escalation support to Service Desk and participate in after-hours on-call assistance
• Mentor team members through cross-training and knowledge transfer initiatives
• Identify, document, and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues regarding environment stability; validate technical metrics and release early alerting
• Collaborate with security and business stakeholders on governance, compliance, and platform enhancement initiatives

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in enterprise platform (cloud and on-premise) configuration, maintenance, development, and operation roles
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Python, or other common scripting languages
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph and PowerShell-based reporting
• Experience administrating Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot)
• Experience managing Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premise Exchange
• Experience supporting SharePoint and Teams governance, including permissions hygiene, site ownership, and content lifecycle
• Experience managing Proofpoint (SER) for email SMTP routing
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog, Opsgenie, SolarWinds, or CrowdStrike
• Experience using service management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Jira Service Management, or Confluence
• Experience with Teams integration with telephony and A/V in conference rooms
• Experience with Atlassian platform (Confluence, Jira, Jira Align, Bitbucket)

Experience

2–4 years of experience in enterprise platform (cloud and on-premise) configuration, maintenance, development, and operation roles; demonstrated expertise in administrating Microsoft 365 services, managing cloud and hybrid infrastructure, and troubleshooting complex technical issues in fast-paced environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Engineering
