NetJets seeks Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Global 6500 in Hayward, CA. FAA A&P required. $235,000–$260,000 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all aircraft systems including engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, and accessories such as brakes, valves, pumps, and air conditioning systems
- Conduct precision inspections using calibrated instruments to measure component wear and assess part condition; ensure compliance with tool calibration requirements and communicate findings to the Fleet Department
- Execute receiving inspections on all incoming parts and components to company standards
- Travel to airport locations to perform aircraft-on-ground (AOG) repairs or coordinate repairs through external vendors; occasionally travel aboard the owner aircraft for test flights, troubleshooting, or owner-requested missions
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations including hazardous waste management and the company Safety Management System (SMS) program
- Report safety, security, and quality observations or non-compliance issues through appropriate channels
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Ability to operate and taxi owner aircraft
- Proficiency with precision tools including jacks, welders, torches, paint guns, sanders, and drill presses
- Physical capability to work on elevated lift platforms (3 to 40 feet above ground)
- Ability to lift and move machine parts weighing up to 70 pounds from ground to waist level and maneuver single items up to 125 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Capacity to stand or sit for prolonged periods during repair operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to consult and apply technical manuals effectively
- Competency with computerized systems for data input and retrieval
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform high-pressure repairs on short notice
- Possession of basic hand tool proficiency
Skills
Experience
Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing large-cabin business jets or comparable high-performance aircraft; preference given to candidates with Global 6500 or equivalent aircraft platform experience and local availability near Hayward, California.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in aircraft maintenance technology from an FAA-approved program is strongly preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 235,000 to USD 260,000 per annum.
