NetJets Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories (brakes, valves, pumps, air conditioning systems, seats), and other aircraft components; document all work per regulatory requirements
• Execute necessary inspections using precision instruments to measure parts for wear; ensure tool calibration compliance and communicate all inspections to the EJM Fleet Department
• Travel to airport locations to repair aircraft in AOG status or coordinate repairs through outside vendors; occasionally travel on owner aircraft for test flights, troubleshooting, or at owner request; coordinate aircraft release with Fleet Department
• Perform receiving inspection on all incoming parts and components to company standards
• Ensure compliance with company Safety Management System (SMS) program and all federal, state, and local safety regulations including hazardous waste management; report safety, security, or quality observations through appropriate processes

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Demonstrated experience working on Gulfstream and other midsize to large-cabin business jets (preference given to local candidates)
• Ability to operate from lift platforms 3 to 40 feet above ground
• Ability to lift and move aircraft components weighing up to 70 pounds from ground to waist level; ability to maneuver single items weighing up to 125 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Proficiency with various aircraft maintenance tools including jacks, welders, torches, paint guns, sanders, and drill presses
• Ability to run and taxi owner aircraft
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations and perform repairs on short notice
• Ability to input and retrieve information from computers and navigate technical documentation

Skills

Experience

Demonstrated professional experience performing maintenance and repairs on midsize to large-cabin business jets, with particular expertise in Gulfstream platforms preferred. Experience with Part 135 operations, AOG emergency repairs, and full managed aircraft maintenance programs is highly valued. Candidates must exhibit competence in both scheduled hangar-based maintenance and field-based troubleshooting.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; FAA certification for Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
