NetJets seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform aircraft, engine, instrument, and system maintenance at its domestic bases, shops, and stations, including inspection and machine-tool work. The role requires an FAA A&P certificate and qualifying experience, education, or successful trade testing; employees qualifying through service and trade testing undergo a 180-day competency review period.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance at domestic maintenance bases, shops, and stations, including wing walking, inspections and checks, dismantling, overhauling, repairing, replacing, assembling, and erecting aircraft parts, engines, instruments, and electrical, heating, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform machine-tool work connected with aircraft maintenance.
- Hold the valid licenses required by Federal Aviation Regulations to perform aircraft technician duties.
- Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technicians must be capable of performing inspection work assigned to their crews.
Qualifications
- High school education.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to qualify for required security clearances, access permits, and badges.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- One of the following: two years of experience exercising an A&P certificate; a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or equivalent from an FAA-accredited program; or two years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and successful completion of a trade test. Employees qualifying through Aircraft Maintenance Technician service and trade testing are subject to a 180-day competency review period instead of a 90-day period.
